Welcome to my website. I'm married and a proud new father living with my wife and daughter in Bon Air, VA. While I currently am working full time at a national mortgage corporation, I recently finished my degree in Web Programming and am taking on free lance web development and design projects. I enjoy spending time with my family and two dogs, traveling, hiking, and designing t-shirts.

• Proficient at hand-coded, cross-browser, accessible, HTML, XHTML, and CSS
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Flash, and InDesign
• Proficient in photo and image manipulation, vector design, web image standards, design theory, user-interface principles, and animation.
• Foundation in Object-Oriented Programming Languages including C++, Visual Basic, JavaScript, Java, Flash ActionScript 2.0, and ASP.
• Experience with MS Expression Web and Publisher
• Experience with Wordpress Content Management System
• Familiar with database languages PHP and SQL

I've finally found a vocation that I can truly enjoy as well as be successful in. Web design satisfies my need to be creative as well as fulfills my interest in technology and structure. Web design has been called an "ambidextrous" field, in that both the right and left brain must be used; you must be artistic as well as mathematically oriented. I've always excelled at both, but found myself unsure of which direction to take. I've finally found a middle ground to succeed in.
