Flash Animation
R2-D2 Game
This game is part of the final project for my intermediate Flash class. I had to manipulate an object using specific properties like x/y coordinates, fade, and visibility. The requirement was to use a single box object, so I decided to throw in some creativity and make a STAR WARS game from the POV of Luke on Dagobah. I changed up the STAR WARS style a little bit and sketched all the drawings myself. I also added Artoo sounds to some of the buttons.Star Wars and associated elements and logos are property of Lucasfilm Ltd.
Previous Homepage Animation for EvanEarley.com
Frontpage animation for a previous incarnation of EvanEarley.com. I love this animation, but the site as a whole needed a lot of improvement and this intro didn't fit the new design scheme. Shapes created in Adobe Fireworks and imported into flash. Intricate movement tracks, shape tweens, and fade effects overlapped to create dynamic visuals.
Shannon Laughs
I used a rotoscope technique in which I took a video and sketched the model over every other frame or so. I then took out the original video and am left with just the line animation of the model. I ended up drawing 36 sketches over 5 seconds of footage.
Kinetic Typography inspired by "The Office"
Animated Typography parralleling a humorous quote from the character Michael Scott on the NBC comedy "The Office". Working play, stop, and reset buttons using actionscript 2.0. That's what she said.
