Challenge: Client already had a website that gave his customers up-to-date weather warning services. Website was working great, but he was looking for a cheaper alternative to paying for a service to display live weather mapping and warnings.

Solution: I figured out how to import free data from the National Weather Service into Google Earth. I then had to create Google Earth APIs embedded into web pages that showed the appropriate clients GPS location on a map with the correct weather region overlayed. Notice, access actual site is restricted to clients, samples are linked instead.

Technologies and Software used: XHTML, Google Earth, KML, JavaScript, Asp.net, Illustrator
