www.woodlakechat.comChallenge: Client wanted a fully-functional forum for the Woodlake, VA community and a landing website displaying local information.
Solution: Created the website with emphasis on photographs of the Woodlake area to draw users in. Used PHPbb open-source application to create a top-notch forum. Altered the interface design to make forum visually compatible with the main page.

Challenge: Client already had a website that gave his customers up-to-date weather warning services. Website was working great, but he was looking for a cheaper alternative to paying for a service to display live weather mapping and warnings.
Solution: I figured out how to import free data from the National Weather Service into Google Earth. I then had to create Google Earth APIs embedded into web pages that showed the appropriate clients GPS location on a map with the correct weather region overlayed. Notice, access actual site is restricted to clients, samples are linked instead.

Shannon and Evan's Wedding Site and Blog

Challenge: I wanted to create a simple and attractive blog that gave users information about my wedding. Further, I wanted the bride to be involved in the content generation.
Solution: So that Shannon could add articles without my help, I used the Wordpress content management system. I used a pre-made Wordrpress theme and changed images and design to personalize it.

Solution: I used minimialistic design to really draw attention to the artists organic work. Custom created portfolio image viewer to emphasis his work.
